He was predeceased by: his parents, James Bursa and Sybila Bursa (Vizelka); his in-laws, Antoinette Toney and Robert Toney; and his sister-in-law Bonny Luna (Ruben) of Milwaukee.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy Toney; his children, Kathryn Bursa (David Siegmund) of Kewaunee, James Bursa (Rochelle) of Oconto Falls and John Bursa (Laura) of Green Bay; his siblings, Agnes Wismer (Jerry) of Broomfield, CO, Robert Bursa (Rusty) of Green Bay and Allen Bursa (Kathy) of Coleman; and his brother-in-law Roger Toney (Gwen) of Delaware, OH. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and many other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 27th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Rhodes-Charapata Funeral Home (438 W Main St, Lena, WI 54139). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 27th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. The military honors will be held on Saturday, September 27th 2025 at 12:15 PM at the St. Wenceslaus Catholic Cemetery.
