He was predeceased by: his parents, Phillip Olaf and Grace Juanita Hanson; his brother Gary Hanson; his son David James Hanson; and his pet Hilda.
He is survived by: his siblings, Linda Antaramian (Ken) and Paul Hanson; his daughter Gina Lee Hanson; and his grandchildren, Nathan Bandt, Ian Gleason (Amanda) and Zia Peck. He is also survived by nieces and nephews (present and late) cousins, other family and many dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 23rd 2026 from 5:00 PM to 6:30 PM at the Prasser-Kleczka Funeral Homes Bay View Chapel (3275 S Howell Ave, Milwaukee, WI 53207).
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Milwaukee Humane Society in Phillip's name is appreciated by the family.
