With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Hasina Hirmiz Sliman of El Cajon, California, who passed away on April 19, 2025 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Hasina shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Hasina farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Hirmiz Sliman and Najma Bakayou. She is survived by: her husband Edward; and her children, Jim, Amir, Isam, Hana and Hiam. She is also survived by 15 Grandchildren, and 16 Great-Grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, April 23rd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Joseph Chaldean Catholic Church (3348 Sweetwater Springs Blvd, Spring Valley, CA 91977). A burial will be held on Wednesday, April 23rd 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Holy Cross Cemetery (4470 Hilltop Dr, San Diego, CA 92102). A reception will be held on Wednesday, April 23rd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the St. Peter's Hall (1627 Jamacha Way, El Cajon, CA 92019).
