She was predeceased by: her parents, Andrew Jackson Donaldson and Carrie Mae Larsen; her husband Vernon O. Snipes; and her siblings, Shirley, Jackie and Bill Donaldson.
She is survived by: her sons, William F. Garrison and Dennis Garrison (Diane); her grandchildren, Felicia Caddell (Randy), William Garrison (Alissa), Steven Young and Dr. Pauline Seymour Sosi (Tyler); her great grandchildren, Destiny (Theo), Nikki (Micheal), Sawyer, Harper, Brinley, Baby Billy and Baby Denny; and her niece Becky Spieker.
Visitation will be held on Friday, April 25th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Hoy Kilnoski Funeral Home (1221 N 16th St, Council Bluffs, IA 51501). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location.
She also volunteered her time and resources for many fundraising events for her granddaughter's school including transporting the volleyball players to away games and tournaments, donating to churches and charities, and helping people in her community.
