It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Eileen Mitchell Fitzpatrick of Long Beach, California, who passed away on April 20, 2025, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Patrick Mitchell and Dora C. Mitchell; her husband Joseph W. Fitzpatrick; and her siblings, William C. Mitchell and Dorothy Mitchell Keegan.
She is survived by: her sons, Michael of Aghaboe, Brian (Diana) of Somerset, CA and William (Patricia) of Westfield, NJ; her niece Patricia Keegan Abels; her nephews, Mark Sullivan (Rose) and Brian Sullivan; her grandchildren, Katie Fitzpatrick Jalquin (David), Molly Fitzpatrick Carter (Ben), Megan Fitzpatrick Stauffer (Matt), Thomas Fitzpatrick (Kathleen O'Neill), Jeanne Fitzpatrick, Maggie Fitzpatrick and Billy Fitzpatrick; and her great grandchildren, Ryan Jalquin, Ava Stauffer and Liam Carter.
Visitation will be held on Friday, April 25th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Dooley Colonial Home (556 Westfield Ave, Westfield, NJ 07090). A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the Holy Trinity Church (315 1st St, Westfield, NJ 07090).
