He was predeceased by: his parents, Wright Stanton, Sr. and Lelia Dudley; and his siblings, Mary Susie Dudley, Roscoe Dudley (Annie), John L. Dudley (Willie Mae), Reverend Robert Stanton Sr. (Frances) and Earz Dudley Sr. (Dorothy).
He is survived by: his wife Kiyoko Stanton; his children, Wright Stanton III (Arleen), Vara Brewer, Ora Stanton, Thomas "Tom" Stanton (Alysia) and Deanna "Taki" Stanton (Franklin Sr.); and his sister Vara Lee Alford (Robert). He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, and 15 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 8th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the Arlington Mortuary (9645 Magnolia Ave, Riverside, CA 92503). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 8th 2025 from 11:45 AM to 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, we ask for donations to the Vietnam Veterans of America which also supports the research and support to veterans exposed to Agent Orange while serving in Vietnam.
