She was predeceased by: her mother Josefina Varela; and her siblings, Wenceslao, Flavio, Jesus Varela, Sara Varela, Maria Elena Varela Barroso and Flowers.
She is survived by: her children, Rosalinda "Rosie" Ornelas, Irene Ornelas (Chris), Richard Ornelas (Christina) and Pedro Ornelas; and her grandchildren, Victoria Ellis, Andrew Bonds, Gabriel Gettman, Gavin Gettman, Lucas Ornelas, Lorenzo Ornelas and Lariana Ornelas. She is also survived by many loving siblings, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A rosary will be held on Friday, September 5th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the Joseph P. Reardon Funeral Home (757 E Main St, Ventura, CA 93001). A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, September 6th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Padre Serra Parish (5205 Upland Rd, Camarillo, CA 93012).
She was preceded in death by her parents, Jose and Josefina Varela; her brothers Wenceslao, Flavio, and Jesus Varela; and her sisters Sara Varela and Maria Elena Varela Barroso. • Flowers can be delivered to Joseph P.
