As Maria departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Maria may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Maria leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Júlia Jordão and José Teixeira Jordão; and her siblings, José E. Jordão, Ernesto T. Jordão and Ernestina T. Ávila.
She is survived by: her brother Pedro L. Jordão (Laura) of Gustine, California. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and godchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, September 8th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Whitehurst-Norton-Dias Funeral Service (286 W Main St, Turlock, CA 95380). A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, September 9th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Our Lady of the Assumption Catholic Church (2602 S Walnut Rd, Turlock, CA 95380).
