We are sad to announce that on August 28, 2025, at the age of 96, Margaret Sharpe Jones of Oakland, California passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Margaret is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Margaret's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Rev. Henry Sharpe and Hattie Sharpe; and her husband Milford Jones. She is also survived by her 13 children, her many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, eight children, a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren, extended family, church family, and friends.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 12th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Beth Eden Baptist Church (1183 10th St, Oakland, CA 94607). A burial will be held on Friday, September 12th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Rolling Hills Memorial Park (4100 Hilltop Dr, Richmond, CA 94803).
