She was predeceased by: her husband Jerry Groh; her sister Regina Applegate; and her brothers-in-law, Clarence Applegate and Charles Groh. She is survived by: her daughters, Colleen Lauer (Jeff) of Concord and Shannon Meranda of Lafayette; her brother Edward; her sister-in-law Janice Cleary; her brother Martin; her sisters-in-law, Rebecca Groh and Jahna Groh; and her grandchildren, Meghan Lauer, Brady Lauer, Lucas Meranda and Logan Meranda. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A rosary will be held on Thursday, September 4th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the Oak Park Hills Chapel (3111 N Main St, Walnut Creek, CA 94597). A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, September 5th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Saint John Vianney Catholic Church (1650 Ygnacio Valley Rd, Walnut Creek, CA 94598). A burial will be held on Friday, September 5th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Oakmont Memorial Park (2099 Reliez Valley Rd, Lafayette, CA 94549).
