He was predeceased by: his parents, Gonzalo Tovar and Fortina Tovar. He is survived by: his wife Carmen Tovar; his children, Ismael Tovar Jr., Nora Lynn Tovar-Mani (John) and James Libby Tobar; his siblings, Andres Rangel, Santos Tovar (Maria), Olga Perez (Jesus), Mary Silva, Gonzalo Tovar (Yolanda), Ruth Silva (Enrique) and David Tovar; and his grandchildren, Robert Balagot Jr., Xavier Mani, Marquis Balagot, Ismael Tovar, Jasmyen Mani and Braylon Balagot.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 9th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Whitehurst-Norton-Dias Funeral Service (286 W Main St, Turlock, CA 95380).
