It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Larry D. George (Sacramento, California), who passed away on September 6, 2025, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
As Larry departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Larry may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Larry leaves behind.
He is survived by: his wife Lynn; his children, David and Rebecca; his children-in-law, Jennifer and Mark; and his grandchildren, Sabrina, Rose, Calvin George and Quinn Palmer.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 27th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the First United Methodist Church (2100 J St, Sacramento, CA 95816).
Larry's family requests that in lieu of flowers, remembrances be made as charitable gifts in Larry's name to either Friends of Wadi Foquin (donations can be made online through Berkeley UMC at: https://tithe.ly, be sure to select "Friends of Wadi Foquin" in the dropdown menu, and designate "in memory of Larry George" in the memo box); or to Ring Lake Ranch at P.O.
