Though Arthur may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Arthur touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Shaffman and Ruth Shaffman. He is survived by: his wife Diana Carol Troik; his sister Marge Charron (Ted); his stepdaughter Laurie Flamholtz; and his sister-in-law Susan Dichter.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 19th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Temple Beth Torah (7620 Foothill Rd, Ventura, CA 93004).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Arthur's memory to the Ventura County Animal Shelter, honoring his lifelong affection for animals.
