He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Martens and Minnie Martens; his son Michael Martens; his brothers, Don and Marvin Martens; and his sister-in-law Carol Martens.
He is survived by: his wife Kathleen Kliewer of Fresno; his children, Lorlyn (Dwight Bartel), David (Lillian Martens) and Teresa (Brian McCreary); his grandchildren, Matt (Sarah Bartel), Ryan (Summer Martens), Kristen Martens, Shannon Martens, Caleb McCreary and Joshua McCreary; his great grandchildren, Ruth Martens, Rowan Martens, Shay Martens and Serenity Bartel; his brother Jerry Martens; and his sisters-in-law, Joyce Martens and Jeanette Martens.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, September 20th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the North Fresno Church (5724 N Fresno St, Fresno, CA 93710).
