She is survived by: her children, Tarik Karana (Sanaa), Zozi Shammami (Hani), Batoul Kotani (late Hazim), Talal Karana (Sahera), Tahir Karana (Flora), Ibtisam Romaya (Rimon), Taleb Karana (Raeda), Ekram Kathawa (Zuhair), Talat Karana (Samira) and Basam Karana (Tamara). She is also survived by thirty-six grandchildren; and fifteen great grandchildren.
A funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, April 29th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Mother of God Chaldean Catholic Church (25585 Berg Rd, Southfield, MI 48033). A committal service will be held on Wednesday, April 29th 2026 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the Holy Sepulchre Catholic Cemetery (25800 W 10 Mile Rd, Southfield, MI 48034).
