He was predeceased by : his parents, Joseph Dalsaso and Ella Dalsaso; his son John; his son-in-law Robert Newell; his brothers, Joe and Tom Dalsaso; and his parents-in-law, Charles and Helen Kohankie.
He is survived by : his wife Jane; his daughters, Ann Newell, Mary Jane Tarach (Michael), Cathy Bottema (Mike) and Ellen Clark (Brannen); his grandchildren, Rachael Quinlan (Jeffrey), Elizabeth Race (Mike), Joe Tarach, Will Bottema (Kellsey), John Bottema, Meghan Cain (Jimmy) and Ryan Clark; and his sisters-in-law, Ann Kohankie, Maryhelen Dumon (Jerry) and Claire Alexander (Mike). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, January 8th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church (2750 Burton St SE, Grand Rapids, MI 49546). A funeral mass will be held on Monday, January 8th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Dan Donnelly Education Foundation at St. Paul the Apostle School or to Grand Rapids Right to Life.
