He was predeceased by : his wife Alva; his parents, Walter Jarrett and Hattie Mae Person; his brother James Smith of Cleveland, OH; his son Ronald Jarrett of Detroit, MI; and his grandson Stephan Cotton II.
He is survived by : his children, Vanessa Brooks of Battle Creek and Stephan Cotton of Atlanta, GA; his grandchildren, Travon Cotton, Brianna Cotton of Atlanta, GA and Destinee Cotton of Kalamazoo, MI; and his close friend Diane Moore. He is also survived by two great grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 12th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Baxter Funeral & Cremation Service (375 W Dickman Rd, Battle Creek, MI 49037).
