We are sad to announce that on January 9, 2024 we had to say goodbye to David Earl Halladay of Central Lake, Michigan, born in Detroit, Michigan. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by : his parents, Rance Halladay and Opal Halladay (DeForest); his wife Gloria Welch; and his siblings, Robert Halladay and Tootsie Halladay.
He is survived by : his children, Ronna Whetstone (Rex) of Westland, David Jr. Halladay (Kimberly) of Central Lake and Lana Poe (Rick) of Owenton, KY; and his sisters, Anna Sidor, Marilyn Barber of Central Lake and Joyce Matkin. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 12th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Mortensen Funeral Homes (2333 S Main St, Central Lake, MI 49622). A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 12th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
Memorial contributions can be given to Good Samaritan, PO BOX 206, Ellsworth, MI 49729, or David Halladay Jr., 7730 Mile Point Dr., Central Lake, MI, 49622, to be used for missions in Haiti.
