She was predeceased by : her husband Joseph DeKett. She is survived by : her son Clark Dekett (Denise); her grandchildren, Joseph, Rebecca Russell (Greg), Monica Zuzow (Rick Barnak), Hillary Rousseau (Jessica) and Nicholas Zuzow (Lynsey); her great grandchildren, Harper, Preston, Jackson Russell, Charlotte and Henry Rousseau; and her siblings, Simon, David and Janice Kushmar.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 16th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM, on Wednesday, January 17th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM and at 6:00 PM at the Charles R. Step Funeral Home (18425 Beech Daly, Redford Charter Twp, MI 48240). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 18th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the Oakview Cemetery (1032 N Main St, Royal Oak, MI 48067).
