We are sad to announce that on January 9, 2024, at the age of 89, Gus Huba of Warren, Michigan, born in Detroit, Michigan passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by : his parents, August and Mary; his siblings, Charles Huba and Helen Wos; and his close friend Donald Meyers.
He is survived by : his wife Maryann; his children, Katherine Weier, Margaret Blain (Christopher), Paul Huba (Matt Lembas), Patricia Edwards (Kevin) and Cynthia Boyd (Jeff); his grandchildren, Christopher, Caitlyn (Mike), David (Alexandra), Megan (Kyle), Morgan (Michael), Madison, Austin, Ashley, Nico and Gus; and his great grandchildren, Matilda, Genevieve "Evie", John Rhodes and Juniper Dana.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 16th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, January 17th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Edward Swanson & Son Funeral Home (30351 Dequindre Rd, Madison Heights, MI 48071). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 17th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
