It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Genevieve Danowski of Detroit, Michigan, who passed away on January 12, 2024, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by : her parents, Ignacy Slizewski and Helen Slizewski (Milewicz); her husband Anthony Danowski; and her son Norman Danowski. She is survived by : her children, James Danowski (Donna), Diane Cohee (Jeff) and Stephen Danowski; her grandchildren, Eric Danowski (Hayley), Brian Danowski, David Danowski, Andrew Cohee (Chelsea), Kristen Brown (Taylor), Evan Danowski (Cassie), Dylan Danowski and Mitchell Danowski; and her great grandchildren, Avi Danowski, Rhea Danowski and Luke Brown.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 17th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 7:30 PM and on Thursday, January 18th 2024 at 9:30 AM. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 17th 2024 at 7:00 PM at the A. J. Desmond & Sons (2600 Crooks Rd, Troy, MI 48084). A funeral mass will be held on Thursday, January 18th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church (280 E Square Lake Rd, Troy, MI 48085).
