We are sad to announce that on January 13, 2024, at the age of 86, Mary Ellen Blondin (Grosse Pointe Park, Michigan), born in Detroit, Michigan passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by : her parents, Mary Elizabeth Sloan and Arthur Elizabeth; her husband John Blondin; her brother Dan Sloan (Lana); her daughter Maureen Brady (Kevin); and her granddaughter Clare Walsh.
She is survived by : her daughters, Michele Blondin (Ali), Brigid Gentile (Tim), Katy Walsh (Chris) and Meg Leonard (Billy); her grandchildren, Tory (Tori), Chasen (Katharine), Tevyn Gentile (Megan), Jesse (Lindsay), Abbey (Pat), Benjamin, Matthew, Emilie Haji-Sheikh, Molly, Annie Walsh, Kathryn, William, Elisabeth and Jack Leonard; her great grandchild Palmer Gentile; and her sisters-in-law, Kathy Blondin-Stone (Bill), Pam Blondin Lenhard (Harry), Bette Blondin and Sue Blondin (James). She is also survived by nieces and nephews, and dear friends.
The lying in state will be held on Saturday, February 3rd 2024 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the St. Clare of Montefalco Catholic Church (1401 Whittier Rd, Grosse Pointe Park, MI 48230). A funeral mass will be held on Saturday, February 3rd 2024 at 10:30 AM at the St. Clare Montefalco Catholic Church (1401 Whittier Rd, Grosse Pointe Park, MI 48230).
