She was predeceased by : her parents, Hugh Robillard and Aileen Robillard (Kennedy); her husband John "Jack" Lajiness; her sisters, Marie O'Kane and Lois Fitzpatrick; and her grandson Nolan Lajiness.
She is survived by : her sons, Timothy Lajiness (Kellie), Terrance Lajiness (Marcelli) and Monsignor Todd Lajiness; her grandchildren, Bryce Lajiness, Monique Lajiness, Matt Lajiness, Ben Lajiness, Sophie Lajiness and Anna Lajiness; her step-grandchildren, Nathan Macabebe and Reyna Macabebe; and her siblings, Bruce Robillard (Shirley), Joan Zima (Jerry) and Linda Giroux (Brian).
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 26th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Rupp Funeral Home (2345 S Custer Rd, Monroe, MI 48161). A rosary will be held on Friday, January 26th 2024 at 6:30 PM at the same location. The lying in state will be held on Saturday, January 27th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church (8125 Swan Creek Rd, Newport, MI 48166). A funeral mass will be held on Saturday, January 27th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to Sacred Heart Major Seminary in Detroit, MI or St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Academy in Newport, MI.
