With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Monica C. Aleks of Lincoln Park, Michigan, who passed away on April 4, 2025 at the age of 69. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond C. Aleks Sr. and Lucille A. Aleks; and her cousin Carole Munro Bowering. She is survived by: her brother Raymond Aleks, Jr. (Cynthia); her nieces and nephews, Madisyn Rae Aleks and David Carlson; her aunt Edna Bowering; and her cousins, Pam Kraft (Steve), Jay Carano and Scott Carano (Kathy). She is also survived by many cousins and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, April 11th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the R. C. Aleks & Son Funeral Home, Inc. (1324 Southfield Rd, Lincoln Park, MI 48146). The lying in state will be held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Ambrose Church (15020 Hampton St, Grosse Pointe Park, MI 48230). A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
