With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Rita McEachen Neal (Royal Oak, Michigan), born in Detroit, Michigan, who passed away on April 12, 2025 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Angus McEachen and Helen McEachen (McHale); her siblings, Mary (McEachen) Karagon (James) and Ronald McEachen (Maureen); and her brother-in-law Micheal McAskin.
She is survived by: her husband Daniel Clinton Neal; her children, Timothy Neal (Carol), Meghan Neal-Sienko (Grant) and Mary Rita Neal; her grandchildren, Helena Grace Sienko, Brady Griffin Neal and Grant Joseph Sienko; and her siblings, Dennis MacEachen (Rosanne), Lawence McEachen (Avis), Patricia McAskin, James McEachen (Paula), Donald McEachen (Shelia), John McEachen (Kari), Joan McEachen and James Karagon (Beverly Green).
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 16th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Sullivan and Son Funeral Directors-Royal Oak (705 W Eleven Mile Rd, Royal Oak, MI 48067). A rosary will be held on Wednesday, April 16th 2025 at 6:30 PM at the same location. The lying in state will be held on Thursday, April 17th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the Christ the King Catholic Church (20800 Grand River Ave, Detroit, MI 48219). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, April 17th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, April 21st 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Mt. Carmel Cemetery - Wyandotte (138 Goodell St, Wyandotte, MI 48192).
