The memory of Howard August Slasor of Detroit, Michigan, who passed away on April 11, 2025 at the age of 86, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. He was predeceased by: his parents, Otto Slasor and Ena Slasor (Talburg); his grandparents, Emma and Otha Slasor; his siblings, Jeannie Slasor, Pammy Goll and Bob Slasor; and his grandson Michael Slasor.
He is survived by: his wife Christine Reeves; his sister Joann McGeorge; his sons, Steve Slasor (Dawn), Mike Slasor (Anne), Ron Slasor and Scott Slasor (Landa); his stepchildren, Brad Neilson, Brad Lemerand, Eric Lemerand and Krista Lemerand; and his sister-in-law Beth Slasor. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, May 3rd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Eagles Club of Weidman (6275 W Weidman Rd, Weidman, MI 48893).
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to Woodland Hospice and Pulmonary Fibrosis (PF) Foundation.
