It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kathleen M. Kinney (Utica, Michigan), who passed away on April 29, 2025, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard Cole and Aileen Cole; her husband Michael G. Kinney; and her son Matthew R. Kinney. She is survived by: her children, Michael R. Kinney (Gwen) and Sheila Kinney; and her grandchildren, Mary Kinney, Madalynn Kinney and Jonathan Cuncich.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, May 4th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Sullivan and Son Funeral Directors-Utica (8459 Hall Rd, Utica, MI 48317). The lying in state will be held on Monday, May 5th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Ephrem Catholic Church (38900 Dodge Park Rd, Sterling Heights, MI 48312). A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, May 5th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, May 5th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Holy Sepulchre Cemetery (25800 W 10 Mile Rd, Southfield, MI 48033).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the St. Ephrem Catholic Community Hymnals.
