He is survived by: his wife Cheryl Ann Babbie; his children, Sarah Francis (Trevor), Matthew Babbie and Kristin Kelterborn (Matthew); his grandchildren, Lincoln, Daphne, Charlie, Louis and Penelope; his mother Firyal; and his sisters, Neda and Nahla. He is also survived by uncles, aunts, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Monday, May 5th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Sullivan and Son Funeral Directors-Royal Oak (705 W Eleven Mile Rd, Royal Oak, MI 48067). A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, May 6th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the National Shrine. A burial will be held on Tuesday, May 6th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Holy Sepulchre Cemetery (25800 W 10 Mile Rd, Southfield, MI 48033).
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the following organizations in honor of Nabeel's continuing fight against cancer: American Cancer Society - Esophageal Cancer, Cancer Research Institute, and Michigan Nurses Foundation; and to the Chaldean American Ladies of Charity.
