He is survived by: his wife Florence Sharma; his children, Nuha Roumayah (Yezzin), Nabeel Eliya and Nore Eliya (Bonita); his grandchildren, Jenna, Julia, Jonathan Roumayah and Noah Eliya; and his sibling Natiq Saleem Eliya (Sulafa).
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, May 7th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Mother of God Chaldean Catholic Church (25585 Berg Rd, Southfield, MI 48033). A burial will be held on Wednesday, May 7th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the Holy Sepulchre Catholic Cemetery (25800 W 10 Mile Rd, Southfield, MI 48033). A reception will be held on Wednesday, May 7th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at 23666 Orchard Lake Rd, Farmington Hills, MI 48336.
