We bid farewell to Wadia Halabou (Southfield, Michigan), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on May 5, 2025 at the age of 88. Wadia touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Faraj Halabou; her children, Jalal (Enam), John, Jannar (Samer Kas-Marogi) and Jermi; her grandchildren, Fabian, Amanda, Bianca, Vania, Alex, Frederick, Kara, Fallen and Francine; her great grandchildren, Magdalene, Conrad and Estelle; her parents, Issa Garmo and Shooshi Garmo; and her siblings, Razzoouk, Georgis, Lateef, Woody, Mukhles, Latifa Denha, Nuhad Younan, Rizqia Shammami, Taghreed Shammami and Faiq.
A requiem service will be held on Wednesday, May 7th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Mother of God Chaldean Catholic Church (25585 Berg Rd, Southfield, MI 48033). A committal service will be held on Wednesday, May 7th 2025 from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM at the Holy Sepulchre Catholic Cemetery (25800 W 10 Mile Rd, Southfield, MI 48033).
Honoring Wadia's wishes, the family is making a charitable donation to those in need in lieu of a luncheon.
