With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Adnan Yacoub Hanna (Southfield, Michigan), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 7, 2025 at the age of 88. He was predeceased by: his parents, Yacoub Hanna and Rejena Mansour Kas-Marougi; and his siblings, Balkes Shunyia (Sliwa), Ghassan Hanna, Aida Jamoua (Peter) and Kamal Hanna.
He is survived by: his spouse Suaad Qonja Hanna; his children, Sandra, Jack, Suzan Somo (Wasim), Jason Hanna (Lindsay) and Joann Hadi (Keith); and his grandchildren, Aiden, Estella, Jacob, Avery, Sloan, Carter, Emma and Lyla.
A requiem service was held on Thursday, May 8th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Thomas Chaldean Catholic Church (6900 W Maple Rd, West Bloomfield Township, MI 48322). A committal service was held on Thursday, May 8th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the Holy Sepulchre Catholic Cemetery (25800 W 10 Mile Rd, Southfield, MI 48033). A reception was held on Thursday, May 8th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Wabeek Country Club (4000 Clubgate Dr, Bloomfield Twp, MI 48302).
