She was predeceased by: her son Kevin D. Smith; her parents, William Smith and Mable Smith; and her son Keven D. Smith. She is survived by: her daughter-in-law Dakisha Smith; her siblings, William Smith, Sidney Smith (Anacka Lowery) and Raquel Lynette Smith (Victor Wharton); her grandchildren, Calitia Warren, Kelsee Smith, Santiago McComb, Jr., Sanchez McComb, Diamond McComb, Brian Crawford, III, Bri Ann Crawford, Brendin Flemister, Benicio Flemister and Blakley Worthy; her nieces and nephews, Kiera Turner, Kion Turner, Kiron Turner, Nicholas Fenderson and Alana Smith; her great-nieces and great-nephews, Kyron Redding, Angel Redding, Dawyne Carter and Ashton Smith; and her close friend Veryl Brando Turner.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 16th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM and from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Kernan Chapel (1020 Fort St, Lincoln Park, MI 48146). A funeral service will be held on Friday, May 16th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, May 16th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Woodmere Cemetery (9400 W Fort St, Detroit, MI 48209).
