She is survived by: her husband Jamil David Hakim; her children, Robert, Bob (Lynne), Keith, Benita, Bonnie Hakim (Dan Donohue), Carolyn Hakim Koprince, Nicole Hakim Yohn (Chris Yohn) and Derrick (Debbie); her grandchildren, Lauren, Brandon (Whitney), Todd, Dana, Stephanie Koprince, Ryan Koprince, Gavin, Justin, Ilse Talia Hakim Yohn and C. Atticus Hakim (Cort); and her sons, Vasu and Rodgers.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 16th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the A. J. Desmond & Sons (Vasu, Rodgers & Connell Chapel) (32515 Woodward Ave, Royal Oak, MI 48073). A rosary will be held on Friday, May 16th 2025 at 6:30 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, May 17th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the Mother of God Chaldean Catholic Church (25585 Berg Rd, Southfield, MI 48033).
