He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Beckhold and Mary Beckhold; and his sister Ann Laise (Luigi). He is survived by: his wife Mary; his son Eric; and his siblings, Kathleen Shipton (David), Margaret Mary "Peggy" Casing (Don) and Andres Beckhold (Lin).
Visitation will be held on Sunday, May 18th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the A. H. Peters Funeral Home (20705 Mack Ave, Grosse Pointe Woods, MI 48236). A rosary will be held on Sunday, May 18th 2025 at 7:00 PM. The lying in state will be held on Monday, May 19th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:00 AM at the Assumption Grotto Church (13770 Gratiot Ave, Detroit, MI 48205). A Mass will be held on Monday, May 19th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Richard's memory to the Capuchin Soup Kitchen or the Assumption Grotto Church.
