He was predeceased by: his son Robert F. Waldvogel, Jr.; and his parents, Leo Waldvogel and Louise Waldvogel. He is survived by: his wife Eleanor; his children, Lisa M. Waldvogel and Jim Waldvogel (Angie); and his siblings, Rita Fagan (late James) and Bill Waldvogel (Virginia). He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and countless dear friends.
The lying in state will be held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:00 AM at the Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church (467 Fairford Rd, Grosse Pointe Woods, MI 48236). A Mass will be held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
