In the quiet moments of reflection, let us honor Esfir's memory by embracing the beauty of each fleeting moment, knowing that her spirit resides in the eternal tapestry of existence, forever woven into the fabric of our hearts.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her spouse Naum Layer; and her children, Boris Ekemchik, Miriam "Marina" Lupyan, Andrey Layer and Pavel Layer. She was also cherished by grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A funeral service was held on Tuesday, June 17th 2025 at 3:30 PM at the Hebrew Memorial Chapel (26640 Greenfield Rd, Oak Park, MI 48237).
