With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary Plantus (Warren, Michigan), born in Detroit, Michigan, who passed away on June 15, 2025 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Romanian Orthodox and Anna Panti; and her husband Deacon Aurel Plantus. She is survived by: her daughter Mary Ann; her sister Raveca; her children, Doris Plantus, Rebecca Simian (Wesley) and Danny Plantus; her grandchildren, Benjamin (Cristina), Daniel, Wes, Jeff, Zach, Alex, Ronnie and Mary; her great grandchildren, Luca, Andrei, Samuel and Emmett; and her pet Mitzy.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 18th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Holy Ghost Romanian Orthodox Church (31500 Ryan Rd, Warren, MI 48092). A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, June 19th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
