It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marie Ferris Michaels (Grosse Pointe Woods, Michigan), who passed away on June 29, 2025, at the age of 100, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Joseph Michaels; her children, Denise Balke (William), Anthony Michaels (Clarice) and Mary Michaels; her grandchildren, Michele Eickhorst (Brad), Joseph Michaels (Tracy), Emily Madigan (Tom), Michael Balke (Katelyn) and Madeline Michaels; and her great grandchildren, Lanny, Sydney, Daisy, Benjamin, Theodore, Andrew, Addison and Tommy.
Visitation will be held on Monday, July 7th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the A. H. Peters Funeral Home (20705 Mack Ave, Grosse Pointe Woods, MI 48236). A rosary will be held on Monday, July 7th 2025 at 7:15 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, July 8th 2025 at 12:00 PM.
