He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude "Bud" Burt and Margaret Burt; and his brother John. He is survived by: his wife Barbara; his sons, Steve (Malissa), Jeff, Scott, Jamie and Jason (Kim); his grandchildren, Aliana (Nathan), Ethan, Maddox, Sebastian and Weston; and his sister Laurie.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 10th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, July 11th 2025 at 9:30 AM. A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, July 11th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Christ Our Light Catholic Church (3077 Glouchester Dr, Troy, MI 48084).
