He was predeceased by: his parents, William Short and Dorothy Short (Parks); his wife Ellen Short; his sister Sylvia Nagy; and his pet Nick.
He is survived by: his sons, Ken Short and Brian Short (Bianca); his brother Jim Seaton (Anne); his brother-in-law Julius Nagy; and his grandchildren, Kaylee Short, Aidan Short, Melanie Short, Maxwell Short and Koda Short. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Hamburg Chapel (7425 E Michigan 36, Brighton, MI 48139). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
