She was predeceased by: her husband Judge Lawrence Gubow; her stepson Dr. Earl Hecker; her close friends, Harry Hecker, Harry Kifferstein and Bert Feldman; her siblings-in-law, Thelma Goren and Herbert Gubow; and her parents, Martin Schmalberg and Mabel Schmalberg.
She is survived by: her children, Judge David Gubow (Dottie), Mona Gubow and Janey Gubow; her grandchildren, Jackie Gubow (Aaron Chalfin), Rachel Gubow, Dr. Nancy Hecker-Denschlag (Johannes), Deborah Hecker, Dr. Susan Hecker and Jennifer Anderson (Tim); and her daughter-in-law Elaine Hecker.
A funeral service will be held on Sunday, July 13th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Ira Kaufman Chapel (18325 W Nine Mile Rd, Southfield, MI 48075). A shiva will be held on Tuesday, July 15th 2025 at 4397 Sunningdale Dr, Bloomfield Township, MI 48302.
