The passing of James Gerard Lessnau of Dearborn, Michigan leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on July 11, 2025 at the age of 72. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Ross and Eleanor Lessnau; and his brother Daniel. He is survived by: his wife Denise MacIsaac; his children, Siobhan Lessnau, Aileen Lessnau (Spencer Disney), Duncan Lessnau (Felix) and Rory Lessnau; his grandchildren, Eoin and Mairi Disney; and his siblings, Ed Lessnau (Becky), Mary Doyle (Bill), Lois Whitham (late James), Nora Lessnau (Dennis Hershberger) and Ellen Mitchell (Brian). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 15th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Wednesday, July 16th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM. A rosary will be held on Tuesday, July 15th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the Howe-Peterson Funeral Home & Cremation Services - Dearborn (22546 Michigan Ave, Dearborn, MI 48124). A funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, July 16th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Most Holy Redeemer Church (1721 Junction Ave, Detroit, MI 48209).
