She was predeceased by: her husband Boutros Ghafari; her parents, Elias Ghafari and Zaher Ghafari; and her siblings, Tannous, Saada, Joseph, Habib and Najat.
She is survived by: her children, Yousif (Mara), Theresa, Louis, Fadia, Georges (Louana), Sejaan (Nada) and Rima (Tony); her grandchildren, Rizk (Jehan), Rabih (Nicole), Amer (Jamie), Gaby (Sharif), Samer (Tegan), Nicole, Peter, Mark (Caitlin), Diana, Carl, Saleem (Lynn), Jamal (Carly), Michelle, Butrus (Meghan), Carina (Noah), Joseph and Boulos; her great grandchildren, Gabriella, Arianna, Julianna, Theresa, Laura, Ghassan, Vivienne, Leigha, Nicole, Violet, Owen, Aria, Amelia, Casey and Mila; and her sister Hayat.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 22nd 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the A. J. Desmond & Sons - Crooks (2600 Crooks Rd, Troy, MI 48084). A rosary will be held on Tuesday, July 22nd 2025 at 7:00 PM. A funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, July 23rd 2025 at 10:00 AM and at 11:00 AM at the St. Maron Maronite Catholic Church (11466 Kercheval Ave, Detroit, MI 48214).
