With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Cande Tellez-Uzarek of Allen Park, Michigan, born in Detroit, Michigan, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 10, 2025 at the age of 69. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Cande is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Cande's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Tellez and Gloria Juarez. She is survived by: her husband Richard Uzarek; her daughter Melanie Knoll; and her siblings, Pinkie Tellez, Cindy Bruce and Yvonne Tellez.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 19th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Voran Funeral Home - Allen Park Chapel (5900 Allen Rd, Allen Park, MI 48101). A rosary will be held on Tuesday, August 19th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location. A Mass will be held on Wednesday, August 20th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church (1050 Porter St, Detroit, MI 48226).
