She was predeceased by: her parents, James Washington and Annie Rice Washington; her husband Frank Andrew Gladden; her siblings, Lillie Washington Laws (Joe), Jamie Washington, James Washington, Jr., Ezell Washington (Delores), Clifton Washington, Sr. (Ernestine) and Houston Washington (Marie); and her great grandchild Nevaeh Grimes.
She is survived by: her children, Andrea Gladden of Adelphi, MD and Kenneth Gladden; her grandchildren, Deion Gladden, Sr., Destiny Gladden and Donovan Gladden of Texas; her great grandchildren, Marquis Mays, Deion Gladden, Jr. and Khalil Loving; and her sister Miriam Adofo (Samuel).
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 16th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Colesville Baptist Church (13100 Andrew Dr, Silver Spring, MD 20904).
