He was predeceased by: his parents, Esteban Castillo and Guadalupe Mena Castillo (Gutierrez); his wife Angela Castillo (Moroni); his grandson Jerome Reilly; and his siblings, Delores, Sabina, Heliodoro, Eva, Louise and Rita.
He is survived by: his children, David (Karen), Paul (Valerie), Louis (Christina), Lisa Reilly (Kenneth) and Sara Schebil (John); his grandchildren, Aaron (Ledia), Lauren, Carson, Alyssa, Jessica, Chelsea Arney (Michael), Lorenzo, Eliseo, Gillian Wansedel (Ross), Jesse, John Paul, Jacqueline Hloros (Ales) and Andrew; his great grandchildren, Luca Hloros, Jave Arney and Josiah Reign Wansedel; and his brother Ramon.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 20th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Bagnasco & Calcaterra Funeral Home (13650 15 Mile Rd, Sterling Heights, MI 48312). A rosary will be held on Wednesday, August 20th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. The lying in state will be held on Thursday, August 21st 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:00 AM at the Assumption Grotto Catholic Church (13770 Gratiot Ave, Detroit, MI 48205). A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, August 21st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
