He was predeceased by: his parents, Gordon Owens and Margaret Owens; his brother Michael; and his mother-in-law Antoinette Horvath. He is survived by: his son Alexander Gordon (Megan); his wife Lynn (Horvath); his son Andrew Julius (A. J.); his brothers, Stephen (Tia) and Patrick (Carolyn); his father-in-law Louis Horvath; and his brother-in-law Louis Horvath (Karina). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 4th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Peter's Funeral Home (20705 Mack Ave, Grosse Pointe Woods, MI 48236). The lying in state will be held on Friday, September 5th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the St. Paul on the Lake Catholic Church (157 Lake Shore Dr, Grosse Pointe Farms, MI 48236). A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, September 5th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
