It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michael P. McHugh of Lapeer, Michigan, born in Detroit, Michigan, who passed away on August 18, 2025, at the age of 62, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Theodore McHugh and Madeline Mary McHugh; and his brothers, Billy McHugh and Bobby McHugh. He is survived by: his wife Tammy McHugh; his children, Tiffany Fenner (Bruce), Michael McHugh (Debi-Jo), Marissa Cesarz (Mike), Andrea Schrouder (Eric) and Tyler McHugh; his grandchildren, Elizabeth, Holli, Gavin, Xander, Brayston, Walter, Camden, Evelyn, Mayleigh and Eleanor; and his sisters, Laurie Robinson and Sharon Pelc (Paul). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 26th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Lynch & Sons Funeral Directors - Capstick Chapel (542 Liberty St, Lapeer, MI 48446). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, August 26th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
