He was predeceased by: his parents, Emil Schoendorff and Irene Schoendorff; his son John; his siblings, Roy, Edward, Arthur and Mary Catherine; his sister-in-law Carol; his nephew Steve; his uncle Nicholas Schoendorff; and his cousin Monique Borger.
He is survived by: his wife Lorraine Pohl; his children, Annette, Carolyn, Linda (Tom) and Mark; his grandsons, Ryan and Drew; his brother Paul; and his sisters-in-law, Joan, Mary Ann and Judy Schoendorff. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, August 25th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, August 26th 2025 at 9:00 AM. A rosary will be held on Monday, August 25th 2025 at 6:30 PM at the Swartz Funeral Home (1225 W Hill Rd, Flint, MI 48507). A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, August 26th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Holy Family Catholic Church (11804 S Saginaw St, Grand Blanc, MI 48439).
