We bid farewell to Diane Gertrude Lush (Detroit, Michigan), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on August 22, 2025 at the age of 80. Diane touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her husband Ernie Lush; and her siblings, Corny, Liddy, Whitey, Clem, Joyce, Mary and Dave.
She is survived by: her children, Joseph Van Hoet (Tina) and Sherri Kluger (Ken); her grandchildren, Allison Smietanski (Evan) and Kaitlyn Kotelniski; and her siblings, Gerry, Bob, Paul and Chris. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 27th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Verheyden, Inc. (43300 Garfield Rd, Clinton Twp, MI 48038). The lying in state will be held on Thursday, August 28th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, August 28th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
